DTCM’S ’Reflection Of Dubai’ Launched

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) recently launched ’Reflection of Dubai’, an exhaustive collection of a collage of modern and ancient photographs of Dubai. According to DTCM’s director operations and marketing, Mohammed Khamis Bin Hareb, “The pictorial book reflects Dubai’s past, present and future. A collection of Dubai’s achievements and developments can be viewed together in picture format, giving a peep into the emirate’s rich past and also it's promising vibrant future.”

The objective behind composing this book, is reportedly to capture the reader’s attention and create intrigue. “A picture is worth a thousand words and that is what we have tried to show in the ’Reflection of Dubai’. The book is a journey into our ancient heritage with valuable information about the culture and lifestyle of the period. Readers can view Dubai in a wider perspective with relevance to its ancient history and today’s modern state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities, and accomplishments,” said Bin Hareb. The books starts with the introduction and narrates different stages and phases of life in Dubai’s growth. “To understand the development of any destination, it is important to know the point of initiation, which is what we have attempted to explain to our readers throughthisbook, ”informed Bin Hareb.
