Air Sahara Commences Kochi Service
Air Sahara strengthened its presence in Southern India by adding Kochi to its route network. The airline will offer a direct connection to and from Mumbai. Convenient connections are also available for passengers to and from New Delhi and Kolkata. This development is in keeping with Air Sahara’s expansion drive. The presence of Air Sahara is yet another feather in the cap of Kerala. Over the years Kerala has endeavoured to develop domestic, inbound and outbound tourism. Air Sahara arrival into Kochi will provide a definite impetus to Kerala’s attempt to develop new strategies to further the cause of tourism. The airline will soon announce its new strategies to further the cause of tourism and also the holiday packages at attractive rates for the benefit of its passengers. Said Romi Datta, general manager - customer services, Air Sahara, “We have recently embarked on a major expansion drive and are presently not only focusing on adding new flights and destinations to our route network, but also making an attempt to promote tourism in India. It is a pleasure to be in Kerala and we are sure that our presence here will be a step in that direction.”
