Emirates has recently announced the
launch of its services to Moscow to commence on July 1, 2003.
The airline will operate five non-stop flights per week to
Moscow, to connect with its existing flights to five Indian
destinations - Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi.
The Airbus A330-200 aircraft will be used on the Moscow route,
with the aircraft configured in three classes: 18 seats in
first class, 42 in business and 183 in economy.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, director of commercial
operations at Emirates Airlines, mentioned that, Emirates
is providing a direct link between Moscow, the political and
economic centre of Russia and Dubai. The service for passenger
and freight transportation, will help connect to the growing
network of Emirates destinations, helping to service the airlines
customers worldwide.
Reiterating this Nabil Sultan, general
manager, Emirates Airlines, India and Nepal said, The
Indian market remains a core focus of our development and
the Moscow launch emphasises our commitment to our Indian
customers as Russia, historically, has had close ties and
bilateral trade agreements with India for decades.
