Galileo India Ties-Up With Kuoni Academy Of Travel

Galileo India, recently announced an exclusive tie-up with the Kuoni Academy of Travel- a new initiative from the Kuoni Travel Group. As a part of this tie-up, the Kuoni Academy of Travel will be exclusively accorded the status of ‘Galileo Certified Academy’. The faculty of the academy will be trained extensively and certified by Galileo, to offer training to students on Galileo’s products. In fact, the Galileo CRS (Central Reservation System) training will form an integral part of most courses that the academy will offer. In addition, Galileo will support the academy by providing the infrastructure required for training. Said Seema Luthra, general manager, Galileo India, “We hope this association will help turn out world-class professionals for the travel industry, trained in the use of latest technology.”

Vijay Chadda, COO, BTI Sita said, “Kuoni Academy of Travel has been set up by Kuoni Travel India for bringing quality travel and tourism education in India, so as to enhance professional skills. In this endeavour, we are proud to have Galileo as our CRS partner.”

The Kuoni Academy of Travel has launched its first centre in New Delhi and is equipped with ultra-modern facilities, sophisticated training aids, customised software and carefully selected faculty, to offer excellence in travel and tourism education. The academy has a central team comprising of highly successful professionals from the travel and tourism industry. The academy plans to open nine more centers by the end of next year.
