Hahn Air Launches Interline Services

Hahn Air in India recently launched Hahn Air Interline Services, a new concept offering a unique ticketing platform in India. The company will provide a complete range of distribution, ticketing, administration and accounting services as the clearing carrier, without being involved in physical air transportation. It offers a choice of over 50 regional offline carriers operating throughout Europe and Americas. Further Hahn Air Interline Services also introduces a unique and revolutionary All America Airpass and All Europe Airpass in India.

The All America Airpass is a unique product, tailor-made for the individual traveller wishing to tour the Americas, visiting various destinations in different countries, using just one single flight document. The All European Airpass is also an exclusive product designed for an individual wishing to tour Europe using just one single flight document, available in almost every IATA-licensed travel agency. There are almost no restrictions.

The All Europe Airpass will be available in all major overseas markets such as Canada, USA, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa.

Subsequently, in a bid to publicise their partnership and take forward their association, The Bird Group and Hahn Air Interline Services recently organised two successful roadshows in Mumbai and Delhi on March 25 and 26, 2003 respectively. Bird Travels, the flagship company of The Bird Group has been the General Sales Agent (GSA) of Hahn Air in India since January 2002. The roadshows received a good response from the travel industry with an impressive attendance from representatives from the travel trade. Rajesh Suri, deputy general manager-business development and Nico Gormsen, vice-president, sales represented the Bird Group and Hahn Air Interline Services respectively.
