Malkani, chairman and CEO - India and Asia of the Kuoni Travel
Group, has recently been appointed as a member of the Singapore-based
International Advisory Council for Tourism (IACT) for a period
of three years.
IACT
is a high-level international panel of about 10 members, comprising
exclusively of chairmen, CEOs and leaders of prominent global
tourism companies. Its primary intent is to provide Singapore
Tourism Board (STB) with insights on key developments in the
global tourism industry and on how Singapore can be evolved
into a tourism capital. Among the other eminent members of
the Council are Dr Cheong Choong Kong, deputy chairman and
CEO of Singapore Airlines and Jeff Kennett, Past Premier of
Victoria, Australia.
