TTDC To Set Up Two New Offices
Reema Sisodia /New Delhi

With a serious aim to strengthen its marketing base in the country, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Ltd, (TTDC) has announced its plans to set up two new regional offices, one in Port Blair and the other at Vizag. These two offices are scheduled to be operational by the end of this year. Apart from the upcoming offices, TTDC has already set up two new offices in the north of India, one being Agra and the other Jaipur, with an initial investment of approximately Rs 15 lakh, which was slated per office.

Commenting on the initiative and marketing plans of the state, Dr V Varaprasada Rao, managing director, TTDC and commissioner of tourism, Tamil Nadu Tourism revealed that, “We aim to strengthen our marketing network in the country and introduce professionalism in the functioning and working of the newly designed marketing strategy and wing. Our decision to set up offices in the North would help strengthen our base in that region, providing the much needed exposure of the state’s tourism potentials and its future development. Jaipur and Agra are two regions which also receive a number of international travellers and starting offices there would also introduce the state to international clientele.”
