The region of Ladakh is not agreeable with the state government over the relief package announced by the Prime Minister to the state of Jammu & Kashmir on his recent visit, since the state government has turned its back on Ladakh and has no plans to start developmental work the region out of the funds. In turn Ladakhi’s, are demanding a fair share of the package to develop their tourism industry, which is the only industry in the region.
